Colonial Rush

The Colonial Rush was a period of Duurnic history in the 1000s and 1100s CE, when the major powers of Umbrak and Jideran rushed to open up new sources of resources to fuel the shift to mercantile economics and cheap labor for their rapidly growing economies. To these ends, they began establishing increasing economic and political control over regions of Eaorma and Vieluesse, leading to the colonization of large parts of those continents.
