Battle of Ganton

The Battle of Ganton wwas a battle of the Last War, fought in and around the city of Ganton, Dorn. This battle was the culmination of the Hallowed Lands' invasion of the Bronze Isle.   Dornish forces had been pushed back by the Hallowed Lands invasion force. At Ganton, they dug in and readied themselves. The battle lasted more than a month, making it one of the longest in the Farkellian Front. When it seemed like the Dornish Army would be overrun, their leadership authorized the large-scale deployment of transcendental weaponry almost directly on top of their soldiers' positions. The desperate maneuver won the battle for Dorn, but the social ramifications of the choice were severe and contributed to the outbreak of the Blue Revolution.
