Nyva's fruitless search for her sister saw her grow desperate for the plight of mortals. She sent her loyal servants to the Material Plane to protect against the creatures of darkness, but in doing so violated the Divine Accord. This was the mistake Hiqra had anticipated.

As Nyva searched for her sister, she watched evil spread across the Material Plane. Creatures of darkness overpowered the races made by the deities. Nyva had believed that if she was reunited with her sister, that they would reach an agreement, and that mortals would live in peace.   In shadows, Hiqra had spent her time creating an army that could conquer the planes. She launched an assault against Nyva's servants on The Material, as was her right by the Divine Accord. Once they were vanquished, her armies spread out across the Material, and seized control.
