Artist: Crystal Galloway
Crystal Galloway is a freelance illustrator and comic artist known for her bold, expressive style and love of manga. She joined the Renown team early on through a recommendation, and we quickly saw the depth she brings. Outside of Renown, Crystal has built a strong following through conventions across the Midwest, where she sells prints, commissions, and original work.
She is the co-creator of Necahual, a webcomic that follows three young girls chosen to protect their people in a vibrant, Mesoamerican-inspired magical girl setting. Though currently on hiatus, the series shows her eye for costume, gesture, and emotion.
