Artist: "Famous" Doug
Doug “Famous Doug” Knollenberg joined Renown: The Card Game on the recommendation of our original artist, Sean McNiff. His art brought a bold, monster movie energy to the project, full of expressive lines. Doug’s work stood out not only for his style but for how he embraced the shared creative space, weaving elements from other artists into his own pieces. One of the best examples is his Doppelganger card, which features Sean McNiff’s Waffles personality.
During his time on the game, Doug’s contributions added a sense of fun and unpredictability to the world of Renown. He captured the spirit of strange creatures and characters, and added his own sense of humor. While he’s since stepped away from the online art scene, we’d love to reconnect and see more of Doug's work in the future.
