Hol'dyn City Council

Forged after a great cultural stagnation and out of neccesity for the deceased ancestors of the world to take a step back and remove themselves from history, the Hol'dyn settlement and subsquent minor goverment was formed as a way for those who had no longer a connection to the waking realms to rest and relax within the Dreamrealms.

The Hol'dyn City Council prides itself in upholding and promoting a sense of serenity and peace for the afterlife of it's members, as well as assisting and protecting the many cultural heritages of it's members and subjects. With a diverse board of the cultures and backgrounds, Hol'dyn is a melting pot for different ideas, festivales, and fancies, and the city council works hard to make sure all cultures feel seen, heard, and catered towards.

Although the Hol'dyn City Council Prides itself with peace, it has gotten alot of controversy due to it's practice of not allowing people who still have connections to the 'waking' realms to enter it's walls.

Structure

Hol'dyn City Council is comprised of a complex set of elected roles and vollenteer roles. Each three cycles a new major will be selected via a vote from the people within Hol'dyn's walls where they will select amongst the eligble candidates and appoint a new major for the city.

Mayors can be of any culture, background or gender but must have a significant amount of vollenteer hours given to the establishment. Candiates are chosen from the board of members, usually up to 5 members will be offered to be voted on during one cycle.

Once a mayor has been appointed, they will not be eligble for another 30 cycles, from there they must prove themselves worthy for candidacy again.

Public Agenda

Hol'dyn City Councils core aims are to provide a place of perfect peace for those who have passed on from the waking realms, and to take care of the needs and requirements of the people who live within it's walls.
