Dove's Hearth
A religious organization dedicated to Dove, deity of love. In her name, the members of Dove's Hearth dedicate themselves to helping others, spreading the warm touch of love. They offer listening ears, help forge connections for those looking for a job or such, and routinely organize food drives or soup kitchens to feed the hungry. Their grand church offers shelter for those who need it, the heart of their organization.
Culture
As an organization dedicated to helping others, the Hearth has a welcoming and warm culture to it. Its members belief strongly in the power of love, and that it's meant to be shared, and this can be found throughout the organization. If they can help, they will. Simple as that.
Public Agenda
The Hearth's public agenda matches its actions. They seek to help those who need it, a charity through and through. They believe their god has blessed them with love, and that receiving it, means sharing it. Hoarding it all to yourself will poison the well, leading to Dove shutting you off, and worsen life for you, and those you failed to help.
Tenets of Faith
Dove's followers, at least those in Dove's Hearth, believe that her love is not something to be hoarded, but to be shared. Dove has created all forms of love--familial, platonic, romantic, etc.--and has given it to dragonkind. Keeping it to yourself will poison the well, turn it into a cloying darkness, corrupting it into something else... until Dove cuts you off entirely, leaving you lonely and unloved.
Sharing Dove's love takes on many forms, but the Hearth emphasizes charity. Helping others is the ultimate kindness, in whatever form you can manage it. A listening ear to a stranger, guiding a lost tourist to their destination, helping an apprentice find a master, offering food to the hungry, a bed to the homeless, a warm hearth to the cold... All of it counts, all of it equally important to the one you helped. That, according to the Hearth, is love. Unconditional.
