2. The Sanctity of the Home and Family: The home, the marriage bond, and the family unit are the fundamental, most vital building blocks of Order in the mortal world. They must be protected fiercely and defended with vigilance.
3. Magic is Nurture and Shield: Magic is a holy art intended to nurture, heal, and defend life, not to be used for aggression, conquest, or vain pursuit of power. The responsible application of arcane knowledge for protection is paramount.
4. Reverence for Water: Water is viewed as the divine lifeblood of the world and the literal source of all fertility. Followers practice reverence for all bodies of water and strive to protect them from corruption.
5. Compassion as Strength: Compassion and mercy are not weaknesses, but profound strengths that sustain the community and ensure the continuation of the divine cycle. Followers are obligated to aid those in need and comfort the afflicted.

The Doctrine of Eternal Marriage

The Doctrine of Eternal Marriage teaches that the bond of marriage, when consecrated, is intended to extend beyond the mortal realm and endure through the Doctrine of Resurrection and into eternal progression. This makes the marriage commitment the most sacred, powerful, and enduring covenant a mortal can make.

• Marital Fidelity as Law: Fidelity in marriage is therefore not just a moral good, but a cosmic necessity. The strength of this bond is the very force that allows the two souls to withstand the challenges of the Duat and successfully transition into the resurrected state together.
• The Model of Isis and Osiris: The eternal marriage of Isis and Osiris, proven when Isis's love and magic brought Osiris back from death, serves as the divine model for all mortals. It demonstrates that the power of love is the ultimate arcane force capable of reversing death and achieving the resurrection that leads to Seket-Hetep (the Offering Fields).

The Church of Isis emphasizes active compassion and the benevolent use of magic, ensuring their worship is integrated into the daily life of the community.

Everyday Practices (The Rites of Nurture)

The daily rituals focus on protection and maintaining the sanctity of the home, reinforcing the Doctrine of Eternal Marriage.

• The Rite of the Flowing Stream (Daily): A personal morning ritual involving water. Followers dedicate a small spell or prayer to the health of their loved ones and the fidelity of their sacred covenants, acknowledging water as the source of life and Isis's power.
• The Blessing of the Hearth: A simple, daily protective magic ritual performed over the home or dwelling. This practice is universal among followers and invokes Isis’s ultimate protective shield over the family unit and the home.

Weekly Service (The Communion of the Current)

The main weekly gathering is focused on communal support, learning protective magic, and spiritual fellowship.

• The Communion of the Current: This communal gathering is presided over by the local Priest/Priestess of the Current. The service involves the Daughters/Sons of the Stream teaching attendees simple protective enchantments and basic healing magic, followed by a ritual sharing of water consecrated in the temple's inner sanctum. The sharing of the water symbolizes the flow of life, shared hope, and the unbreakable Covenant of Protection.

Annual Festivals and Sacred Services

The annual calendar celebrates the power of love to overcome death and the sacred nature of life itself.

• The Festival of the Risen Love: This is the most joyous and significant annual festival, celebrating the successful resurrection of Osiris by Isis's enduring love. It is the primary day for the renewal of marriage vows and the formal consecration of young couples' marital covenants, reinforcing the Doctrine of Eternal Marriage.
• The Shielding of the Mother: A compassionate annual festival dedicated to protection and fertility. This is the primary day for mass healing services, for blessing pregnant women, and for the public send-off and blessing of the Guardians of the Covenant before they embark on their defensive duties.
