Seket-Hetep
The Offering Fields, or Seket-Hetep in the tongue of the gods, is the sprawling realm of Order, Law, and eternal reward. It is a land of serene beauty and perfect harmony, a testament to the gods' victory over primordial chaos. This tranquil plane lies under and beyond the Mountains of the West, the final destination for the souls of the righteous after their mortal journey is complete. The land is characterized by fields of golden grain, winding rivers, and an eternal, soft light that washes away all sorrow and regret.
The Seven Sanctuaries
Upon entering Seket-Hetep, a soul first finds itself in the Seven Sanctuaries. These are not merely caverns, but immense, peaceful oases of perfect prosperity. Each sanctuary is a lush, self-sustaining paradise, with a landscape large enough to hold several cities. Here, the initial reward is granted to virtuous souls who have passed judgment. They are given a home of their own, a sense of belonging, and the first taste of eternal peace. The Pillars of the Firmament
Beyond the sanctuaries, a soul journeys to the Pillars of the Firmament. This realm is a spectacular landscape of twenty-one colossal, unyielding pillars that stretch from the ground to the heavens. They are a monument to the endurance of Order and the unyielding, eternal nature of the righteous reward. Between these titanic pillars lie vast caverns that house idyllic towns and plantations, a permanent, joyful home for the departed souls. The Marches of Fire
A perilous, chaotic barrier zone between the blissful fields of the righteous and the home of the gods. It is a landscape of perpetual, unholy heat, where rivers of lava flow and mud pits boil. This realm is a necessary gauntlet, patrolled by the fearsome demons and servants of the gods who act as a final test of worthiness. It is a place where a soul's lingering fears and doubts are purged by fire, leaving only the purest essence of their being to pass on to the final realm. The Amentine Valley
The Amentine Valley, also known as the Valley of the Blessed and the Gardens of Final Rest, is the final destination and the home of the major Lawful deities. This is a valley of sublime beauty and peace, a place where all mortal longing is finally fulfilled. In this valley stands the Hall of Truth, a magnificent structure where Osiris, Isis, Anubis, and the council of judges gather to cast the final judgment on the souls who have made it through the Marches of Fire.Localized Phenomena
