Hal'ver: Elven Mother
Halfelf born from an Elven mother have a special place in Elven society. When they are born into their family they are considered dedicated to their family forever. They will cook and clean and sew and guard and fetch and serve the family with honor even to the sacrifice of their very lives. They are very well regarded and respected for their dedication to their family.
These Hal'ver rarely escape their place in life, and when they do it is considered a breach of the very foundations of civilization. If they abandoned their commitment to the family it is most often a death sentence.
