Session 069: The Mark of the Adventurer Report
The party gets a "mark" of unusual power.

Recap
A species of creatures has long been Dead and someone was erasing knowledge of it from all sources.
Upon attempting to leave the room, the party was killed by an electrical trap. Their consciousness was then transported to a Celestial conversation between the Deities Bast and Silvanus, who discussed their plan to use the party, referred to as "Wild Cards," to reignite the old Realms and bring back a powerful entity. The party then woke up in a metallic, steam-filled room with mirrors and pipes. After navigating the strange maze-like area, they discovered a loose pipe that led them to a lower level filled with steampunk-like machinery, including Tesla coils and automatons. They were immediately attacked by several of these creatures, including a large one with blades who referred to himself as the "Lord of Blades." A voice that sounded like Bast's then messaged Sas, instructing her to break the power Crystal in the room. The party battled the automatons while attempting to reach and destroy the large Crystal. After a difficult fight, Calliope, in the form of a Tyrannosaurus Rex, successfully broke the Crystal, causing a massive explosion. The party was enveloped in a white Light and phased through the walls, watching as the city below was destroyed by the falling Kaiju and military forces. They were then transported to a hillside where they were met by a new group of beings, including a Halfling, a crystalline creature, a Warforged, and a bengal Tabaxi. They also saw their Unconscious companions, Arktos and Bastion. The Tabaxi spoke to the Halfling, confirming a deal, before turning to the party and explaining that they were needed to fulfill a purpose.
Summary
The party found themselves in a mysterious realm after their apparent deaths, brought there by the powerful entity Bast who had made a deal to help handle a dangerous situation. They learned that they had been inside a massive kaiju-like Warforged automaton, and when their Friends destroyed a Crystal within it, the entire construct had collapsed. Bast explained the nature of magical orbs - dying worlds that become frozen in time during their final moments and are transformed into these spheres, with the ultimate goal being to collect 300 such orbs to potentially destroy everything. The group was introduced to several companions including a knowledgeable Warforged who explained the history of his people, created originally for war but now led by the Lord of Blades in a Resistance against all other intelligent life. There was also Elliwick, a Halfling who possessed plane-running abilities and had spent a decade searching for their companion Gearlock. The party received valuable gifts including Adamantine bars worth thousands of Gold, Bracers of Celerity that provided speed and protection against paralysis, an acid ring that enhanced attacks and allowed casting of Magic Stone, and special glyph stones. Bast transported the party to a hidden mountain location where they were led through an illusory cave entrance by their Warforged guide. The cavern was lined with glowing Crystal veins that provided enough Light to navigate the winding passages. When they reached what appeared to be another Dead end, each party member experienced a personal spiritual trial where a mysterious, genderless voice questioned them about their greatest strengths, weaknesses, and deepest curiosities. Shadow spoke of her strength in helping people forget reality through distraction, though she admitted she perhaps didn't take things seriously enough and had no permanent purpose. Sas revealed her greatest strength as appreciation for life and trust in others, with her biggest curiosity being about her ancestry and the source of her beast transformations. Bastion acknowledged his determination as his strength but admitted to overconfidence, driven by a desire to learn more than others. Calliope's responses focused on her selfless nature and willingness to risk herself for others, though she struggled with cynicism about people's true motivations. After being deemed worthy by the mysterious voice, each party member participated in a ritual involving a Silver Flame. They placed their hands into the mystical fire, which felt cold rather than hot, and directed magical marks to appear on different parts of their bodies. Shadow chose the back of her neck, Sas selected her left foot, Bastion picked the back of his lower torso, Calliope chose the top of her right hand, and Barlo opted for his left hoof. These marks, called the Mark of the Adventure, granted them potential abilities including initiative bonuses, additional skills or languages, cantrip learning, or enhanced unarmed attacks. The party was then led to a magnificent forge chamber surrounded by flowing lava and filled with complex clockwork machinery. Crystal formations dotted the walls, and a central apparatus allowed lava to bubble up and spill down the sides. The Warforged craftsman began working on repairing the magical orb that contained a dying world, using the Silver Flame energy that the party had channeled from their marks. As he worked with hammer and anvil, incorporating crystals into the cracked orb, the chamber began to shake ominously. Suddenly, a massive automaton construct crashed down from the ceiling, having been camouflaged within a hollow stalactite. The creature was built from Wood, stone, and Metal with embedded Adamantine Armor plates, wielding a primitive stone hammer in one arm and a large blade in the other. Despite the danger, the Warforged craftsman continued his delicate Work on the orb while the party engaged the hostile construct in battle. The fight was intense as the party coordinated their attacks against the towering automaton. Shadow used her swarm abilities to gain tactical advantages while firing her bow, Sas employed her Druidic magic and spores to weaken the enemy, Bastion danced through combat with enhanced speed and precision strikes, Calliope supported with crossbow bolts and magical assistance, and Barlo raged with his natural claws. The construct retaliated with devastating sweeping attacks that caught multiple party members, but their combined efforts eventually brought down the massive enemy. With the threat eliminated, the Warforged craftsman completed his Work on the orb, channeling the last of the Silver Flame energy into it until it glowed brightly. He then turned his attention to the party's weapons, explaining that they contained tracking devices that had allowed their enemies to spy on them. Using a special Metal called Mhornar, he offered to reforge their weapons to remove these tracking devices while enhancing their magical properties. Each party member participated in the reforging process, striking their weapons with hammers as the craftsman worked his magic. Bastion's rapier was enhanced with thunder damage and improved defensive capabilities that would boost his Armor class. Calliope's dagger was transformed into a short sword with radiant damage properties and the ability to deal partial damage even on near misses. Shadow's bow gained force damage enhancement, while Sas's club was imbued with poison damage that complemented her natural spore abilities. Barlo's situation was unique as he rarely used his maul, preferring his natural claws. The craftsman creatively transformed the weapon into claw enhancements, creating magical gauntlets that would boost his natural attacks with acid and poison damage while improving his accuracy. The process required additional magical components, including a ring of good fortune that was incorporated into the Crafting. Throughout the weapon enhancement process, the party learned more about the Warforged culture and their ongoing struggles in this realm. The craftsman and his companions expressed hope that they might be able to travel with the party when they returned to their home realm, as they wished to help restore their friend Gearlock who had somehow ended up in the party's world in a damaged state. As the Crafting session concluded, the Halfling companion prepared to transport the party back to their original location. The craftsman stored the repaired orb safely and gathered the remaining Silver Flame energy into a special orb for future use. The electrical sparks and magical energies that had filled the forge during their Work gradually dimmed as the process completed. The party found themselves transported back to the top of a stairwell, though the passage behind them had collapsed and was now blocked with Rock and debris. While the structural damage wasn't severe, it was clear that this route back to the forge was no longer accessible. They now possessed enhanced weapons free of tracking devices, magical marks that would grant them new abilities, and valuable knowledge about the nature of the orbs and the greater threat they faced. The session concluded with the party needing to decide which specific abilities their Marks of Adventure would grant them - whether to enhance their initiative with additional dice, gain new skills and languages along with cantrips, or improve their unarmed combat capabilities. Their weapons had been significantly upgraded and they had gained powerful new allies in the Warforged craftsman and his companions, setting the stage for their continued adventures as they worked toward their ultimate goal of reaching the mysterious City in the Mist.Scenes

Bast puts them in a protective bubble of magic force to protect them as the ring in the sky is breaking apart Sending shards of Crystal from space. They tell the party that they may be recepients of a magic "mark" that will enable them to assist in repairing the Orb of Eberron, Crafting a Gem to revive Gearlock, and to recraft their weapons as they are being tracked by Ursa.
Barlo doesn't care about his weapon. Shadow asks what will change. The weapons will be altered, and they should be better than what they had before.
The plan is to go to a Creation Forge, these are the Arcane Forges of Eberron long used to create the Warforge. Now outlawed and banned to use. Bast says she believes they come from the Spellweavers and are to be found in almost every realm.
Sas asks about the Mark, and they learn about Eberron's marks which are a part of their societies. A rare sign of one gifted with magical powers in various ways. There seems to be a mark unlike any other, it is the Mark of the Adventurer. The mark is supposed to help with the forging here and other things...
The party realizes that they are inside of the Orb of Eberron in its final days, this destruction was slowly occuring within the orb they hold.
Barlo asks if they help stop the destruction, does that affect the orb. Bast says they believe it might since the party is not of this realm, and by being of another realm it could change things. Even a minor influence, such as helping defeat the Lord of Blades. Bast is going to leave soon, but wants to give them some time if they have questions as she won't be able to speak with them again until they get to her home. The only reason she could do this was due to the very large obelisk at the Floating Keep of Tharros Near Outding. Sas remembers how they are sure of how to get to the City in a Mirage. She asks if they are on the right track. Bast said she hadn't pushed them to go too fast as the journey is just as important as it helps them gain power which they will need when they get there.
The food is enough to stave off Exhaustion and to fill up their HP. They were warned to not take a nap or long rest here as it can be dangerous.
Sas asks if there is anything else they need before they get there, Bast says not really - besides the orb. She thanks her for not using the orb's power as it is dangerous and corrupting. They are of unlimited power, but dangerous.
Shadow asks if there is anything else they can know about the goal... Bast says she can't really tell them much right now as it is all a part of a ritual to save her pharoah. There will be challenges that they seem to be preparing for with their journey.
This is a short rest.

Barlo thanks her for saving their lives, and asks if there will be any problems with other dieties with what she did here.... specifically with Jergal.
She says it shouldn't as Eberron doesn't exactly have Deities like other realms, so that avoids a lot of problems. Additionally, she was able to transport them quick enough for the death to not exactly "register" with Jergal, so he should be unaware. Since they will return via a transport from another realm it will seem as if they went to another realm and came back, nothing to do with death. It's a loophole.
Shadow asks if they would be able to come back here. Bast says the Planewalkers have their ways -- looks at the Halfling. She says she is not sure if this the kind of plane they would want to come to and at that moment a large Crystal shard hits their forcefield. Bast continues with saying that hopefully with them stopping the Warforge invasion it might help the people here in being able to take care of other things.
Barlo asks if the forge is where the Warforged are created. Yes. he worries about the knowledge of that Creation and if it can happen in Dierde. He fears Ursa doing it. Bast says Ursa was seemingly trying such an event, with Gearlock. Shadow asks if that is why she wanted the orb, and Bast believes she did plan on using its power for such a ritual. Although Bast says it wouldn't have worked out the way Ursa would have wanted. The orb would have destroyed the island nation.
It was damaged in the ritual Ursa had used with the Beholder. She looks at Amalgam who says he is sure he can repair the orb if the party do have the marks and can assist with the Silver Flame.
Bastion asks about the marks and what they mean. Amalgam notes that he is sure, based on what Bast has said to him, that the Wild Cards possess the unique mark within them which will help with handling the Silver Flame. As he understands it they unlock power within the individual. Shadow asks if they will benefit them when they leave, and Amalgam is sure they should.
They also learn that Pradam's realm has no magic.
The only time restraint is that the party can't Sleep here.
The Warforge pulls out a side pouch with their reward. It is a Bag of Holding, he then pulls out an Enchanted Glyphstone. 5 bars of Adamantine,
worth 1,000gp each wt. 1 lb. ea. a ring, bracers, and a Potion.
The bracers turn out to be Bracers of Celerity

Gearlock has an Enchanted Glyphstone so they will able to communicate with him.
Gearlock had died, but his body somehow was being moved around realms it seems. The party here had spent over a decade to find him. and the Halfling Planewalker NTO had a connection with Bast so she was able to secure this deal.
Bast brings up they need to repair the Orb of Eberron as they will need 4 orbs for the ritual for the pharoah.
Barlo asks who the Warforge are and who are they fighting and why. These Warforge are fighting for the Lord of Blades who wants to eradicate all other sentient life not Warforge. He has powerful connections to stop any powerful force here in stopping him, but by using people from another realm it is possible this can stop his forces.
When they are ready. Bast says until she sees them again, best of luck. Hopes they make it in time.
the Halfling plays a flute and they Teleport to a mountain. The ring is still breaking apart, but shifted, so same planet but different place. The Warforge looks around the cliff wall and his hand goes inside the wall. an Illusion. The others go into the Illusion. The party does as well.
It is dark, but the Warforge has a torch. Various twists and turns. Finally they get to a wall where he tells them to go through so they can be tested for the mark.
As they enter it is very dark, as the eyes adjust there is a soft glow with veins of crystals like they saw in the Kaiju, with a soft glow. As they get to the Dead end they drift and find themselves alone.

So they all pass and are able to gain the mark if they put their hands into the Silver flame.
They go down and see a ring of stones with a silvery flame burning. A hallway to the right.
Also the voices they heard were genderless and at timed multiple voices it would seem.
The party come down and Amalgam tells them to come down.
Shadow puts her fist in the fire. On the back of her neck a small marking appears made almost of the crystals it would seem.
Sas does the same, it goes on the top of her left foot.
There hands are lit with the silvery flame.
Barlo does the same, the mark is directed to the base of his back. It even affects the fur of the Tabaxi.
Bastion tries to scoop his hands through and they are lit. His on the top of his right hand
Calliope directs hers to her left ankle.
The Mark of the Adventurer bestows upon them the choice of one new power:
Shortly after this the Warforge has a spark of Silver flame from the apparatus shoot into the orb.
That should do it, he says as he hands over the orb to Sas. He then reminds them how Ursa has been tracking them and he is sure he can reforge their weapons. He is able to magically transform the weapons into new weapons, now with additions of the purplish Mournlode Dragonshard crystals Each has to strike a hammer during the process, and each time that Amalgam works on the Crafting he has to put various items and jewelry into the "flames" Bastion gets a +2 Rapier of Eberron, +1d8 Thunder damage, Parry +1 AC when wielding Callipe gets a +2 shortsword of Eberron, radiant (1d8), glancing blow Shadow gets a +2 Longbow of Eberron, +2d8 force Sas gets a +2 Club of Eberron, poison 1d8, Crit on a 19/20 Barlo gets a Claws of Eberron +2, acid 1d8, crits on a 19/20 He needed a common magic item to do this one as it was changing the shape of the weapon-- he threw it in the fire. Throws a red Gem into the fire, then holds a different orb into the flames. This one takes all the Silver flame and has electric sparks. then tells the Halfling NTO they are ready. She plays some notes on the flute and they go back to Dierde... Retcon: Barlo wanted to have talk to him about Warforge... They can do this on the ship as they plan on going with the party to Thornwinds They are back in the keep and the tunnels to the basement are blocked with debris. Transcripts

Silvanus: Bast, what you ask is no longer done. We let them choose these returns.
Bast: Silvanus, I know you don't like my plan to return my brother -- but I am sure in the end it will help our kind. All of our kind.
Silvanus: Bast, we don't know how your judgemental brother may be these days.. Labelas has had difficulties in seeing to the Toril past and how it connects with this Dierde ever since that Human interloper… well since his hexad-soul-split working for Mystra to be fair, but the one that messed with time it has even changed so many parts of fate that most gods are almost of the mind to release Tharizdun and be done with it anyways. They no longer Fear it will be the final death, and some almost seem to welcome it either way.
Bast: Silvanus, there is no fun in death -- besides of they feel no longer tethered by the tablets of fate then why not bring my brother back? Besides the pharoah's rebirth he can help any gods seeking their time to float in the Astral Sea. Besides… these Wild Cards may be the key to re-igniting the old Realms. I have some ideas, but we have to bring them back at least this one time. I think if we [garbled] then it will be like travelers from Eberron and not some deific intervention. That will keep the Raven off our backs for, not like a kitty is ever really afraid of a silly bird -- but her and I have made our arrangements when I can get away with toying with the deaths of these mortals that I don't need her changing those deals.

Silvanus: And what of the Feylords?
Bast: They don't keep that close an eye on their Eladrin and feyfolk when they cross into the Prime, you know that. Besides, if my ultimate plans Work… they will find so many more canvases to create upon. Besides, Titania's avatar in the Vale is quite smitten with this group and relies on them to help protect their stake in the Prime… Which is also why I think Labelas will want us to help this group… If they help that interloper out of the time stream he can regain his control and it should be a reason why the Raven might not be as confrontational when she learns of what I know about Jergal
Silvanus: what about Jergal?
Bast: Oh, I can't tell you yet. The death of Vecna is still too fresh, deifically-speaking and that avatar might still return in which case I will lose control of the plot. Not gonna lie, love -- but the focus is on my people first, because even I fail to save Dierde I can still save my people… I have contigencies. Some forget that I come from the War Domain of our flock and I don't always fight on the open battlefield. My machinations come from the shadows, but they succeed.
Silvanus: I hope you are right. I am risking a lot with this…
Bast: You are risking everything, but it is the only chance we have…
An earpiercing scream…. Then Silence. The Slow sound of sand as you are now buried in sand… you feel it choking you….
Then it is gone.

Bast:I have given you a chance. You died in that tower, but I think we have a way to bring you back, first though I need you to assist someone for me…

The Battle:

Bastion casts Haste, then bonus action: Bladesong. Calliope casts True Strike, choosing to lock in Weapon's True Strike. Using it with her crossbow and it misses. Shadow shoots a few times. Sas Shillelagh, misses. It hits the club aside. Barlo rages, swipes with his claws... recklessly. one hits. The Titan takes some spore damage from Sas. It then strikes out with an arcing attack of its blade to those around it. Including Amalgam.R.2
Bastion Attacks. Also he can switch whichever True Strike when he can normally change them out. so he attacks/attacks/weapon True Strike/weapon strike Calliope casts True Strike again, and it hits. black viscous with red tinges fluid comes out where the crossbow hits. Shadow shoots her bow. Arktos moves. Arktos also grants some healing with his gives a hoot ability. Sas moves. Shillelagh and hits. Barlo takes his swipes. hits. The Titan takes some spore damage which hits into a weakened plate exposed by Barlo. Just as it was going to hammer onto Sas.☠️ killed by Sas (Spores)

That should do it, he says as he hands over the orb to Sas. He then reminds them how Ursa has been tracking them and he is sure he can reforge their weapons. He is able to magically transform the weapons into new weapons, now with additions of the purplish Mournlode Dragonshard crystals Each has to strike a hammer during the process, and each time that Amalgam works on the Crafting he has to put various items and jewelry into the "flames" Bastion gets a +2 Rapier of Eberron, +1d8 Thunder damage, Parry +1 AC when wielding Callipe gets a +2 shortsword of Eberron, radiant (1d8), glancing blow Shadow gets a +2 Longbow of Eberron, +2d8 force Sas gets a +2 Club of Eberron, poison 1d8, Crit on a 19/20 Barlo gets a Claws of Eberron +2, acid 1d8, crits on a 19/20 He needed a common magic item to do this one as it was changing the shape of the weapon-- he threw it in the fire. Throws a red Gem into the fire, then holds a different orb into the flames. This one takes all the Silver flame and has electric sparks. then tells the Halfling NTO they are ready. She plays some notes on the flute and they go back to Dierde... Retcon: Barlo wanted to have talk to him about Warforge... | For a long time, the inhabitants have had a, a mark of some sort for various marks, depending on, heritage and, how the gift was kind of given to them. And I have a feeling that there's a, a mark that each of you guys can have that could benefit for both. the situation of helping this orb. |
| And when you guys are able to finally help me with my feral. And what kind of mark like a tattoo? It is very much kind of like a tattoo. it's because it is branded into the skin. |
| the way it works usually is. For example, the forge that you guys will be going to has been hidden for a very long time. they are illegal to use because they are. How warforged are created. You. warforged have not been made in a very long time. Legally, I should say. And those who have been historically been able to make it, they had the mark of the Kenneth family. |
| But, I mean, it was more similar to the sports that we were doing all world. It's interesting you say that. I have a theory that they are very similar. I do believe that, they have been used in different meat, different ways, both in your realm, in this. But I have a feeling they come from a very similar source. |
| What source do you know? Let's just say that I've been having knowledge that I thought was long lost, coming back to me slowly and, I do think it has something to do with, that species that you guys have been learning about in that keep. I'm not comfortable saying the name right. |

There was a discussion that you can kind of here before, but for you, you would have heard it and then just still been unconscious. But what it turns out is that it had kind of sent your party here. it seems that she had a deal with this halfling, to kind of help them handle the situation here, figuring that you guys might be able to kind of help with the situation. |
| You guys were sent inside of a very large, like, kaiju kind of adamantine, like Godzilla sized, kind of, warforged, when you guys were, when you party, when the your friends were inside of there, they started exploring it, and they destroyed a crystal that pretty much made the whole thing fall down and go boom. so after it went and fell, went down, that's pretty much when they all came out of the inside, outside of the kaiju. |
| And you guys were all kind of brought together. And that's kind of where we are now, where she's kind of letting you guys know that she brought you guys to this place to do that and to help fix the orb. And, that's it. That seems that she wants you'll be able to send you guys back to the air deck. |
| Which orb is it that's broken? It's the. Is it the one that we owe everyone? It's the one you guys got from the beholder, okay? The one that's cracked that we knew never to use. Okay. The one that Ursa was asking for and that instead you guys held on to. But she said that it might blow up. It seems that they might be able to fix it, but they have to fix it here, and it's probably because it's made for this role, and that's why it would have blown up. |
| And dirty. Yeah, maybe, possibly. So it's not an orb of ever on like another orb. It is. It is that inside of that. So kind of whatever on this. So what happens. We're in it. The last days we inside the orb. What you guys have learned is that in the last days of these worlds, as it's like dying, it's like, almost like near frozen, like time slows down to a crawl for that realm, and then it becomes a ball. |
| It becomes one of these orbs, and then it's transported to some other realm. The goal is that 300 of these orbs will appear in one realm at one time, and somebody could be able to bring them together and destroy everything. That's pretty much the core of it. But then how can we have the world in a ball but also be on the world? |
| It's called magic, right? Have you ever seen Men in Black? It's pretty much like. Yeah, it's kind of like the little marbles. Like 30 years ago, but it is very much whatever it, I didn't steal from that, but it is kind of now, it's a very good analogy of kind of what happens. And what you guys had learned was what it comes down to is that the reason would whisper into early culture, tell I will give you secrets of great magic and power, and it convinces these people to do some spell. |
| So when they do that spell, it pretty much establishes that when this that world dies, it will be held in a state, as in its final days as these orbs and the goal of making the 333 of these. |

| The, the gods here seem to be more faith based and don't interact with the the denizens of this plane, whereas, as far as is concerned, your death was too quick for it to for him to have registered, and it will just appear to him, well, to any other gods, as if you traveled to ever wrong or to another plane, and then just came back to that plane, which is pretty normal for adventurers, and it shouldn't trigger any issues. |

Is that bringing you here at the right time allowed me to just send you back there, and anybody spotting it would be like you just walked into that plane and instead of dying, will we be able to come back? | I will admit, though, I don't know how much longer it has until something does damage it. It seems that it got weekend with the, the ritual that the beholder was working on it with. |

| Adamantine. But these are. These are for cars, like, like a gold bar. But adamantium ingots are usually like little bits. I think those are nuggets. Yeah, and ingots can be either. How much did you say they were worth? Those are, I believe if you play Minecraft, you know the difference between it and a nugget. Minecraft. Been a while. |
| what does Minecraft, What a thing is in reality. So, so I believe those are probably worth about a thousand gold pieces each in a row. I'm sure you'll be able to get that. there is a ring and a set of bracers. Oh, and a potion. |
| Don't do the ring or the bracers. Look familiar? no. The, the ring. What you notice on the ring is it looks like to be like some type of goldish kind of silvery, maybe electrum metal. and on the top, it's got, like this, like, green stone in there. the bracers, are made of bronze. They seem to be lined with, like, a soft purple velvet. |
| you see a couple, like, engravings of swirling designs on those. And then it tells you at least, at least I know what the potion. That's a potion of healing for you. in case you need one of those, tell us what these are. the bracers are, called, they're the bracers of celerity. they will make you a little bit faster. |
| And, they can, kind of help you with, center. In certain situations where you want to, keep yourself out of being paralyzed or, or restrained, it can be helpful in those situations. that ring is what we call an acid slinger. And, what that will do is, it will help give you a little bit of extra acid damage. |
| when you attack somebody, if you happen to be a, a of some sort, it will allow you to cast magic Stone three times a day. it's usually a ring that some casters like to have when they travel. and that final other thing is called a, a glyph, glyph stone. |
| And those are from our realm, very, helpful for people. in fact, when you guys get back to your homeland and I'm able to fix gear lock is the, warforged that you guys have, saved, he's got one as well. Oh, the one that we have on our ship. Yeah, his name is Gear Lock. |

Elswick has a great power that she is actually a plane rider. She's able to go in through different planes and we spent a couple out a decade or so actually trying to figure out where he had gone. |
| By the time we had found out, it was a little bit too late, to really do much about it until work said that she might have a connection that would help us. Turns out the connection is best. |

But that's who was, So the warforged are being that are down there that are fighting are all led by the Lord of blades, and he doesn't like the other sentient races. you have to understand, the warforged were created during a larger war that they had here. |
| They were created just for war. And, once that war was over, a lot of them felt their purpose was, |
| Unfulfilled. And so he had spent the last few decades creating a resistance. And his goal was to, pretty much destroy all life on this planet that is intelligent outside of the warforged, the Lord of blades. Yes. |
| And and my understanding is that he could have done it, but we and he has some powerful friends that we're keeping most of the other powerful beings on this realm from stopping him. Which is why you guys came in handy. Bringing in somebody from another realm out of nowhere was unexpected. |
| And that, the stone. Is going to be on a hand up in a second. |
| so this this stone, actually, it's got quite a bit that it can do. the six inches by 2.5in, quarter of an inch high. you can see the single glyph, the other side, there's, like, the little long row of tiny little runes on it as well. this one does require attunement, but it's a special attunement. |
| Once the you once you spent an hour or two attuned to this, item, you can then choose one item, the other item that you, are attuned to. And now you can actually switch between them with a five minute ritual. And what that means is this is not a, really great for a combat purposes, but it allows you to be able to go back to it without having to spend an hour or two attuned to it. |
| but then you can kind of see the, the abilities that it has on the hand I just shared with you. |
| but if you guys are, if you guys are done eating and have no other further questions, you guys can go and, go ahead and go down to the, Hidden Forge. |

| It's shifted in position. So obviously you guys are on a different place on this, planet. but you can still see, as you guys look off to the horizon, you can still see a weird darkness at the edge that seems to be kind of trying to grow up, to come up past the horizon. |

| The, halfling, looks to the warforged who starts looking around, the edge of the mountain. There's this, cave. It's actually more of like a cliff facing in front of you. So it kind of goes up quite a bit, and then it kind of goes up towards the mountain top. but this sheer wall that you guys are kind of looking at, he starts kind of like filling around various parts of the wall. |
| And, you see, at some point, though, his hand goes inside of the wall. He's like, okay, here we go. And you see him walk into the, the cliff side. And it seems that there's some type of an illusion that's kind of hiding whatever's inside of it. You see the other, characters that are with you, the crystal guy, the halfling, the little flying guy, and the, robotic dog. |
| They kind of look at you, and then they all start walking into the cliff wall. I guess we'll follow. Yep. | And this little mark appears on the back of your neck. it's almost looks like. It's like of the crystals that you see here. And this is the pattern, and it looks like. |

| I would say that you feel like you can kind of, even as it's kind of forming as it's coming through, is that you can even if you want it to be smaller or larger, you would have that kind of control right now. |

And as it goes into the apparatus, you see it, first of all, form up on the large machine that's chained behind it, where it the the lava that's kind of spouting out through the center. |
| It is, it pops up, you can see the silver flame kind of mixing in with it and, a little bit of that silvery glow slowly kind of starts even going out into the lava that's around you. he takes the orb and he puts it into there for a moment, and it starts taking on the silvery light. |
| the little flying creature floats over to where there's, this little thing of crystals and kind of grabs a bit of that, and you see him take the crystal and start kind of hammering it on to the, the anvil, almost as if he's, like, hammering the crystal into, wedge into the broken parts. he would then take the, the hammer once again, this time taking the hammer into where the silver flame was put. |
| And it takes on that silvery glow, and he kind of goes at work trying to repair this thing. |
| There's a point, as he's kind of working on this, that you start to hear some kind of like sound of, like some of the rocks kind of breaking up, on the rooftop a little bit, though, you see, like, just like a little bit of dust kind of falling down. It would be mostly, Shadow and Barlow. |
| At first. I would start to see some of this kind of happening as the ringing of the. The hammering kind of lays out. |

You see that there's even bits of, like, adamantium crafted into the, the armor as well. Embedded maul in place of a hand. And an embedded ax for the other. And we are going to go ahead and roll initiative, as it definitely wants to stop you guys from doing what you are doing. |
| I'm going to get to, He was in the stalactite. It seemed that it kind of was kind of like camouflaging him a bit. And, it might have been a bit hollow. So, that kind of help him stay up there. But as the work was going on, it was able to actually wake it up. |

So the way that this is working now is the original true strike. I'm calling it lucky. True strike. and but all it does is I think it just gives you an advantage on your next attack against that creature. |
| if you want, though, there's a secondary version, and you get. I will give you a one time chance to decide which one you want. The other one is, I'm calling it weapons true. Strike. And that is a cantrip. The difference here, though, is a you have to have a component as a weapon with which you have a proficiency. |
| And so you make one attack with that weapon, and the attack uses your spellcasting ability for the attack and the damage rolls instead of using strength or dexterity. If the attack deals damage, it can then be radiant damage or the weapons normal damage. Type your choice. It also has an upgrade whether you choose to deal radiant damage or the weapons normal damage type. |
| The attack though, will deal extra radiant damage when you reach level 511 and 17. so pretty much what it is that it allows. It's almost like in a way, like, with the weapon you choose, when you make that attack, instead of making an attack with it, you're you're casting the spell through strike, but you're actually using that weapon as the component. |
| And as you do that, you can use your in your case, your charisma, ability for your attack and damage roles, as well as get extra damage in that attack. Would that be something that's close range or it can be anything. It's got to be a weapon. it doesn't say whether melee or ranged. So as long as it's a I will allow right now and unless they change it, but it will be allowed melee or ranged weapons before. |

So he makes you this, these claws will make it a pair in sense. claws. ever run? so, because these are, not an actual weapon is just enhancing your physical attack. there is no, actually, I guess there would be no other damage that adds to it, but it would add. |

| with that, He then takes out. But that creates two of that now. What was that? I just bought arena crits. Allows me to crit on 19 oh. you also see him then, take a couple more items, and he kind of puts them into that apparatus, and then he pulls out a, red gemstone and throws it in there and, he takes out, a little orb out of it, out of his bag, and he holds that orb into that, that silver flame for a while, where as he has it in there, you see the last bits of the silver flame that's in the lava kind of start slowly |
| whispering out. You see it all kind of start. disappearing from the other parts that are there. and then you even see. The, little, electrical sparks kind of start to dimmer out a bit as that last bit goes into the orb that is holding in there, and it glows bright, brighter. he then puts that into his bag and, it checks. |

| What you guys want your mark to have granted you? the options were listed earlier. it can be. initiative on the initiatives. you can add a one d10 to your high and long jump. add one skill, proficiency or language. you can learn one cantrip from any branch or an add A1D3 damage to your unarmed attacks. |
