Personal history
Gob was a fortunate child; one of the first goblins born into a mixed society. His mother was skilled as a seamstress and his father was a forager and gatherer. Where exactly he was brought up is still much of a mystery.
During his youth, Gob would spend a fair amount of time learning to live off of the land with his father. He was taught to hunt with a bow and fish with a spear. But his favorite thing was when the carnival would come to town. Clowns, jugglers, acrobats, and wild beasts from distant lands. Litle Gob had no idea what a gypsy was and certainly didn't know to be wary of them. His parents wept when Gob had been taken when the carnival packed up and left town. Gob was amongst a dozen or so children taken.
The next decade or so was lived as less than a pauper. They were trained and fed, but ultimately were slaves to be sold or traded however the travelling bandits needed. A new set of skills was given to Gob. he learned to dance, balance himself on impossible surfaces, and how to fist fight. A recruiter for a group calling themselves The Brotherhood witnessed this strong, agile goblin and knew he could be trained for a higher purpose. Gob was sold into a league of assassins.
The Brotherhood finished raising Gob. Under their direction he became a rather efficient killer. He rose through the ranks of the league and became somewhat of a legendary figure. They called him "Bebbeh Yayguh" which means "small/little passing" where the word "passing" symbolizes the transition from living to dead. In short, Gob is a ferocious foe and to have him hunting you is to be assured of an early death.
At some point Gob retired to Daven's Dale, buying a large plot of land near the village of Veros. But a goblin's past never truly leaves them be, and no one knows when Gob Wikk might become activated again.
