Bits, or Binary Digits, are what make up everything within cyberspace. From the only known landmass in the Nexus called Systerra, to the Construct inhabitants and the cities and items they build.
Bits cannot be created nor destroyed. They come in two varieties, 1s and 0s. Zeros represent the empty space in between the ones, and do not have any render types. Ones, on the other hand, are what can actually render.
The vast ocean that surrounds Systerra is a sea of zeroes. It appears as if the land fades off into nothingness. As zeroes have virtually no weight, it is theorized that one would fall into an infinite loop if one were to step into this ocean, never to be seen again. No one dares to step into this ocean.
There are two forces that bind bits together.
