Scorched Hills
I'm told the edges of the Hills are good for drying food. Otherwise, useless and terribly hot.
Transformed into a burnt wasteland by Metac, there isn't much of anything left in the Scorched Hills. Perhaps centuries ago it was a cascading set of fertile valleys, but no more. The only reason Kaokutians set foot into the Hills is to scout Metac's activity (should there ever be a need to evacuate Old Duranth).
