World Events?

Unrest in the town has resulted in various troubles for the dragonborn, who want to ensure they get what is theirs.

Adventure Information

Who is involved in the adventure?

Who is behind the adventure? (BBEG)
Who is effected?

What happened already?

Following A Cart Stolen by Co-Bolds., Sheric Lorzavur has recruited the two mages who made the initial bomb, and has them working on a new version the size of a barrel of wine, with the explosive potential about eight times the yield of the original one.   They also have hijacked a cart with a shipment of wine for house Heilig and seek to deliver the bomb as well as the group there seeking to bring the house to an explosive good-bye.

When did it happen?

  1. The recruitment happened about the same day as A Cart Stolen by Co-Bolds.,
  2. The Bomb creation is almost done, and should be resolved just when the party bites.
  3. The Cart was hijacked at the day of the delivery, with as little kerfuffle as possible.

Where did it happen?

  1. The Mages work around the north market of the Kraft District.
  2. The Bomb is constructed in the back of the stable, with the area covered by a sheet.
  3. The cart was hijacked on Wharf-lane, by a coordinated mob as well as a well thrown rock.

Why did it happen?

  1. Sheric Lorzavur wants to make a statement.
  2. Lilly Merkatz wants to get her drivers back.
  3. Sarah Heilig wants to bring hard justice to the Dragonborn.
  4. Stralva Zeisl wants to bring Calia Menethil in for the 1000 GP reward.

Player Information

Who is the Quest Giver?

  • Lilly Merkatz wants the group to rescue the Kobolds she assumes it won't be too much trouble, as she can get what she demands quite easily.

What happened?

Sheric has send a letter to House Merkatz with the following text:
Dear Lady Merkatz,   I'm writing you on account of your missing drivers, which your previous employees failed to rescue. I know where they are and so do your previous employees. You have two days to either send them back or I'll send your drivers back in multiple pieces, one piece every day.

How does the QG want this resolved?

Lilly Merkatz wants the group to retrieve the Kobolds (Gud/Snux), alive or no payment.

What does the QG offer

In return for this "easy" favor she'll offer 25 GP, and could go up to 60 GP. And if required she could throw in a favor, to be redeemed later. Lord Merkatz works with the navy and so she could have some sway there, she is also nobility so her voice could open certain doors.

Other sides of the Quest

When the group arrives, Sheric wants a word, and needs the group's help. In a sign of "Good faith" he will release the kobolds if the group agrees. We wants the group to break into the house of Sarah Heilig and has made some arrangements.
  1. The cart has enough barrels to hide in.
  2. These barrels are for the house and should be moved to the basement straight away.
    • Sheric can't do it himself as he and his goons won't get anywhere close, and they miss the finesse.
  3. The house allegedly is home to a gathering in the living room which leaves much of the house clear of trouble.
  4. The party should look in the office, which could be in the attic, or somewhere on ground floor.
  5. Sheric is willing to pay 200 GP for the retrieval of his vital document, which should detail pro-draconic going-ons. Or could be altered to show as much.
  6. Sarah Heilig has been informed of a Dragonborn ploy to infiltrate the house and is sure to lock the basement. Waiting for the watch to arrive.

Other Information

The Bomb:
The bomb will be primed when it's loaded on the cart. And will explode with enough force to level the building: It has 8 times the force of the original blast, which results in a doubling of the damage and a doubling of the radius.
