Annie

Annie is the wife of Jack and mother of Grace. Annie makes her introduction in the series in Season 1 Episode 2, she is a on the first mission that takes place in Calverton. She stands out on said mission for not only being the only girl on the mission but for also being very thankful and welcoming when first meeting Ace, Cole and Lebone. She is the first one besides Dash and Donte to offer Ace, Cole and Lebone to join our survivors. Annie is a nice woman and mom that is outgoing and willing to fight the dead although she is just an average zombie fighter. Annie is one of the first female lead characters in the series.

Annie unfortunately dies at the end of Season 2 after sacrificing herself to save her daughter Grace. About a couple weeks later our survivors (alongside her family Jack and Grace) arrive in Stone Ridge. Turns out the day we arrive in Stone Ridge is September 6 which happens to be Annie's birthday. After hearing this Jack is overcome by tears at the fact that they made it to saftey without Annie on Annie's birthday. The others try to comfort Jack by saying Annie is happy that they made it to Stone Ridge and her family finding a safe place to call home is the best gift she could ask for on her birthday. Jack hears this out but in the back of his mind he remebers how awful he always was with celebrating Annie's birthday. Always falling short and in a way this made him feel like he has fallen short again due to him not being able to bring Annie to Stone Ridge too. This makes Jack fall into a deep depression.
