Elise

Elise

Elise as an Elfish woman living in Eltrisk, she is the most average elf one can be. Who is generally a useful member of Elfish society, working as a seamstress. Besides one thing, she has five children. Which is totally unheard of within the Elfish species, most female elves only have one child, even in their very long live. Sometimes two.

Not Elise, with the human Nicolay Nonac she has a half-elf daughter, Aloise.

With her long-term partner, Ostrian she has three further sons, Ettrian and the twins Faelyn and Nevar.

And then just recently she had a baby with an unknown father, named Rinni.

All her children grew up in Eltrisk, and are healthy, also Elise doesn't appear to have any consequences from her many pregnancies. Confusing Elfish healers. Aloise recently had found an interest to finding her father's grave, and with the three oldest brothers she is on a quest to find it. She had never met her father as he had left Eltrisk before she was born. According to Elise he just left, but the rumour circuit says they had a fight and she kicked him out.

Biology

Female elves are normally only fertile between the ages of 200 and 400, roughly once every ten years. Without any outward signs marking the start, the first possibility is often missed. Timing it right is a difficult game in the decades there after. And once a first child is created a lot of female elves are set off the idea of having others as it takes a long time for their finely build bodies to recover.

Culturaly

Raising a child is considered a big effort and a huge responsiblity, althoug shared by the whole community, it is a fifty year commitment before an elfish child is considered old enough to be left alone for a long period of time.

The act of procreating is not considered a fun past time among elfs. Elise's first relations ship with the human might have altert her views on this subject.
