Iterron

The Eastern Continent

Eastern Iterron consists of only a few countries. The Kingdom of Ashtree is where most of the campaign will take place, so no further explanation is needed. The Kingdom of Haralyn is rather dry and filled with deserts and steppes to the south, and a cold, wintery north full of highlands is there, too. It is the biggest country in Iterron, as it stretches from one side of the continent to the next. The Duchy of Lestrand is right to the south of Ashtree, filled with fertile farmland and forests. They used to be bigger, but the duke vowed to give up some land for Haralyn. Not shown on the map of Ashtree is a country slightly beyond Haralyn that people only know as a strict dictatorship of some sort, the Republic of Haltor. Most people aren't allowed in or out, and it is a very volcanic, dry, and hilly land.

The Western Continent

  Most people don't know what is happening outside their province, let alone their town. So when things are talked about that are happening on the other side of the continent, it mostly goes ignored. There are two baronies side by side, known as the Wolf Barony and the Eagle Barony. They are in the northern coastal part, with their economies based on fishing and agriculture. It seems they have been at war for 30 years now. There's also a few independent fiefdoms and marches, as well as a kingdom to the south known as The Hetralian Kingdom, and they are said to control a few territories of to the west of the continent. Though it appears to be a human nation, orcs have been rumored to live among them. There is also the Confederacy of Gold towards the center, bordering Haltor. A supposedly dwarven country of multiple kings ruling their own territories together. Lastly, a certain County of Cherambeau, home to humans, has recently been established. So far, no one has found evidence of intelligent life (besides more monsters and aberrations) outside the continent.
