Responsibilities:
Master de Coroy is an extremely skilled young researcher with many important contacts outside of the guild, which has allowed him to receive abundant funding and progress quickly in his career. Those contacts have helped give him the influence at court that House of Coroy alone could not provide him, and he does a lot of advocating on the behalf of the guild. House Coroy used to be Dark before those magic and politics were finally outlawed. All current Coroys have of course forsaken those beliefs, yet many members of the rune guild refuse to work with Master de Coroy. Master de Coroy himself has an aloof behaviour and rarely mingle with the rest of the guild. Do not seek him for collaborations. It has recently been announced that Master Coroy is bound to join the House of Royenne upon his marriage with one of their daughters, which is going to strongly increase his political sway at court. Several members of House Royenne have recently been involved in scandals that have linked them to rituals and high Dark political circles, but neither Master de Coroy nor his betrothed have been implicated. Rumours regarding why House Royenne would agree to marry one of their members to a lesser House should be considered or ignored at everyone's discretion.
