Vasna Eagles
Vasna eagles are a subspecies of eagle used by the High Seas Couriers (HSC) for delivering packages and letters to their intended recipient. Unlike other types of eagle, these eagles are born and bred specifically for this purpose.
They are rarely used for domestic deliveries. Instead, they are used when a person needs to send a parcel overseas. While it would have been easier for the High Seas Couriers to ship the parcels across continents, they decided it was quicker to use the eagles for a direct delivery.
Location
Vasna eagles are found all over the Known World and New World continents. They are used for sending parcels and letters between the two. In recent years, some people have started sending Vasna eagles to the Old World, because it has become much safer and many places are accepting tourists and migrants. So some people are now sending letters and newspapers to the people of the Old World.Deliveries
"Some say it's old school. We say it works."When a package comes into any of the HSC's depots, it is sorted based on its destination. These packages are then sent to the in-house Vasna eagles, who are separated based on location. Sometimes, the HSC will ask a sender to provide an insignificant item that belongs to their recipient.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Vasna eagles have extra features that make them stand out from other eagles. First, they have a stronger sense of smell and can sniff out other creatures for miles. They also have magic and can sense a person's soul. These extra features are used in unison to make sure that a Vasna eagle knows who the delivery is for and where in the world they are.
