While not exactly an item, these useful clusters of data can be used to automatically succeed on a single Computer or Hacking check. It would only count as a general success, not a critical one, so it would be as though you hit the exact number needed for the DC.
A basic core can only hold up to 3 of these at any given time, but can be loaded onto a blank Drive to transfer to another person. They can only be contained on a Drive for a maximum of 24 hours.
