Emperor Davistan XV

oronated in the wake of his father's assassination and facing a third invastion of the Orodáni Federation, the former Crown Prince Matteus IV is the 15th emperor of the Davistan Line of Emperors.   Originally the second child of Davistan XIV, Matteus's older sister died early during their childhood in a freak accident on the shores of Ban Elsir, near to the Capital of Hope.   While his father was titled 'The Bold', there has been no doubt surrounding the title of Emperor Davistan XV since his introduction to politics nearly a decade ago - the Kind. The young Emperor's smile is said to be so infectious that it warms the land like first light on a misty morning. As prince, Matteus was often seen spending time lending his aid to the shelters in Hope's lower districts, or healing injured soldiers in the infirmaries of the Eclipse Knights on the other side of Lake Lumelor.   Less of a fighter than his father, Matteus is never without his trusted attendant and bodyguard Sir Gwyilidon of the Dawn Guard, an esteemed figure in the knightly spheres of the Empire. Before his coronation, the princeling spent much of his time at private chateau and vineyards of his family, which lies amongst the heavily settled valleys north of Port Montague's outskirts.
