Quetza
The snake-like Quetza are incredibly clever and intelligent. They use their quick wits and logic to think and plan several steps ahead of what others typically do and are known for having precisely whatever is needed; be it information, an object, a person, or something else, on hand despite not possibly being able to predict its necessity.
Basic Information
Anatomy
At first glance, the snake-like Quetza may appear to have an elongated torso, with no visible distinction between the head, midsection, and tail. This is due to the scaled hood that extends from either side of their heads and necks, and the thick, powerful tail that extends beneath them. In reality, their physique more closely resembles a lizard than a snake, as they have distinct arms and legs, and the musculature in their torso is not designed to propel them forward.
They have a small pair of vestigial wings on their back which are often removed at an early age with no adverse effects. Their hooded heads end in a flat snout and their eyes are abnormally large.

Quetza Traits
Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence Score increases by 2. Darkvision: You have darkvision up to 30 feet away. Double Lidded Eyes: You have a second transparent eyelid. You have advantage on saving throws versus being blinded, and can see up to 30 feet in sandstorms. Spirit of the Guide: Once after a long rest, you may roll a number of d20s equal to half your intelligence modifier (at least 1) and write down your results. You may, once per turn, use one of these rolls for any attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, adding the applicable modifiers. This must be declared before rolling for said check. These rolls must be used in order and are expended upon use. You lose any unused rolls when taking another long rest.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Their scales have a variety of different patterns, but the most common of them is white diamonds on black or brown. They have a pair of small, vestigial wings on their back, though they’re far too small to use for flight. Thin silvery veins line the rims of the scales on the crown of their heads and on the dark color of their irises.
