Kayot
The doglike Kayot are perhaps what many people think of when the word Espuna comes up. With an almost preternatural degree of social awareness and charm, Kayot find themselves at home at the top of a social hierarchy; giving orders, changing minds, and diffusing conflict.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Kayot Espuna have forms similar to the desert jackal, with elongated snouts, wiry fur, pointed ears, and a short tail. Their forms are slender and lean, with muscles reminiscent of gymnasts and fencers. Their faces are incredibly expressive and are capable of a much wider range of microexpressions than others.

This addition stacks with any proficiency you may already have. You must declare this before you roll. You cannot use this feature again until after a short or long rest. Omniglot: You can, after a short period of listening to it, speak and understand any mundane tongue. Spirit of the Trickster: When you roll an opposed check, without knowing what your opponent rolled, and before the DM has revealed the result, you may choose to swap your roll with your opponent’s roll. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma Modifier. These uses recharge after completing a short or long rest.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Kayot have a rough coat of short, wiry fur in colors ranging from midnight black to smokey grey to dusty brown to sandstone red. The crystalline filament of the Espuna grows to match their fur’s length and consistency. It usually grows in a patch on the crown of their skull as well as highlighting their muzzles.
