Whiterest
Nestled along the Whiterun River, this settlement marks the furthest edge of Galatria. Beyond is mostly ancient, unexplored lands. Whiterest grew up through the quarrying of stone from nearby Dardin's pit used in the construction of Whiteholde Castle. The Town is under the fidelity and protection of the Thanlencrest family. It is a small yet prosperous Village, although the nearby Quarry and mines have been all but abandoned. The village thrives on farming, fishing, and wild game. Whiterest is known for its infamous watering hole, the Rusty Goblet Inn. Many a Crawler and Adventurer seek the Old Oaken Table that is kept within the walls, which has carved upon it a map of the surroundings with markings of ancient and dark places that whisper of untold wealth and forgotten treasures.
