Revealed

The Revealed is a fanatical yet peaceful religious organization that operates across the Federation of Free Planets and outer planets. Founded on the belief that humanity must seek permission from enigmatic beings residing within the cosmic void before utilizing it for Faster than Light Travel, The Revealed has garnered a following that spans the cosmos. Despite their fervent dedication to cosmic harmony, they face significant challenges in gaining widespread recognition and often conduct their activities in the streets due to limited resources.  

Beliefs and Teachings

 

Void Guardians:

Central to The Revealed's doctrine is the belief in the existence of sentient beings within the cosmic void, referred to as "Void Guardians." These entities are considered guardians and keepers of cosmic balance.  

Divine Mandate:

The Revealed hold that they have a divine mandate to act as mediators between humanity and the beings of the void. Seeking permission, guidance, and forgiveness from these beings before venturing into the void is their sacred duty.  

Cosmic Stewardship:

Cosmic stewardship is a core tenet, emphasizing the absolute necessity of respecting the sovereignty of the Void Guardians. Transgressions into the void without permission are viewed as disruptions to the universe's equilibrium, potentially leading to dire cosmic consequences.

The Federation and many outer worlds generally do not fully embrace the teachings of The Revealed. Their beliefs are often met with skepticism, and they are not officially recognized as a mainstream religious organization.  

Limited Resources:

The Revealed struggle with limited resources, making it challenging to establish proper religious facilities. Consequently, their gatherings and sermons frequently occur in makeshift street settings or public spaces.  

Street Sermons:

Due to the absence of dedicated temples or religious buildings, Revealed members engage in street sermons, preaching their message in open-air settings in an attempt to capture the attention of passersby.  

Mobile Altars:

In place of traditional religious facilities, Revealed members carry small, portable altars and sacred relics during their street sermons. These items symbolize their connection to the cosmic void and the beings within.  

Resistance to Void Travel:

Despite prevailing practices in the Federation and outer planets, The Revealed actively discourage their followers from engaging in void travel without first seeking permission from the Void Guardians.  

Leadership and Structure

  The Revealed maintain a hierarchical structure led by the Grand Revealer. Below the Grand Revealer are Hierophants, followed by devoted adherents responsible for various aspects of the organization. While their leadership structure remains intact, they often operate from modest spaces or mobile headquarters due to their limited resources.  

Outreach and Missions

  Despite widespread skepticism and opposition, The Revealed continue their efforts to persuade others to adopt their beliefs. Their mission of cosmic stewardship and respect for the void remains central to their outreach and missionary activities.

  The Revealed's symbols include celestial objects, cosmic gateways, and representations of beings within the void, emphasizing their connection to the cosmic realm, even in their modest street settings.
