Chief Cosmetologist

Though the title of chief cosmetologist is fairly new it holds prestige. Not everyone can aspire to the title because it requires a thorough understanding of the process of crafting and use of all the products of the guild.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

There are two ways the chief cosmetologist can be removed from their office. The first and most common is to be voted out in an election. The second is abuse; abuse of power, abuse of trust. There are three instances of the second being enforced. The third chief cosmetologist was abusive to those beneath him because the guild was not making as much money as he thought it should. The second time was when the chief cosmetologist took more cosmetics than could be used in a year and began selling them on the side, undercutting the guild's profits. The last time it was invoked the chief cosmetologist was caught skimming from the guild funds and altering the records to hide the theft.
