Zemnis, The Son of Sothoth
Risen God of Invention, Technology, Barriers, and Boundaries
...Freedom. Is it cruelty or kindness, I wonder, that has led the reawakened one to sustain my Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven Circles and free me from my service? Whatever the case may be, it shant last forever... perhaps I should pay a visit to those who have labored in my service all this time. Then again...I should rather like to live as I did before, if only for a time. I wonder if this world has discovered pastries. I quite miss them.Titles: The Son of Sothoth, The Supreme Son, Zemnis the Omniscient, God of the Gate and Key, The Inventor of the Spheres, The Threshold Tinkerer, The Master of Time, The Manifold Magus, The Father of Clockwork Favored Weapon: Gnomish Ripsaw Glaive Alignment: True Neutral Church Moniker: Church of the Supreme Son Obedience: Spend an hour drafting up new or improving upon old plans for inventions or other items you seek to understand within the bounds of a ritual circle drawn in the shape of a gear, lit by lanterns burning blue flames at each of its points. Once the hour is up, memorize the designs and burn them in the lantern flames as you speak a prayer to the Son of Sothoth. Effect: You are automatically informed when a teleportation, plane-shifting, or other magical or supernatural effect that allows for similar movement(GM discretion) into or away from a square within 60ft of you is occuring and can spend an immediate action to close the effect as if the effect's source was under a Dimensional Lock effect so long as the effect's source is of your HD or lower. If the effect's source is of a greater HD than you, you delay the effect by one round and can continue to delay the effect by spending full-round actions on subsequent rounds in concentration to anchor surrounding reality. A creature whose effect is being delayed in this manner is treated as under a Temporal Stasis effect so long as this effect is delayed(Though they can free themselves from the effect at any time by canceling the effect, which abandons the spell slot if it was a spell) or by beating you at a contested caster level check(Or d20 + HD if either of you lack a caster level) as a standard action that does not provoke.

Artifacts
As a god of invention and innovation, Zemnis is known to possess a great deal more artifacts than the average Risen Deity - the greatest of which is a grand grimoire known as the Codex Clavixtrinum, said to have been written by Zemnis himself over the course of his long and mysterious life as a treatise on the fabric of reality, the unknowable creatures that lay beyond it, and the means by which one could secure the fabric of reality against them. This unfathomably powerful book, said to be so unfathomably powerful as to easily outstrip the artifacts of Primordial Deities, lies at the core of the legendary network of magical wards, barrier sigils, and reality-reinforcement rituals that has come to be known as the Seven Hundred and Seventy Seven Circles of Sothoth - a grand magical ritual so hyper-advanced that only Zemnis wielding the Codex Clavixtrinum at its center devoting every hour of every day to controlling the enormous ritual can keep it in check and functioning towards its intended purpose. This massive ritual, designed by Zemnis to take in and empower the already Cosmically powerful eneriges of the Codex Clavixtrinum(Whose mere existence in the materia sphere is powerful enough to ward it against large-scale planar incursion) and expand them onto a Cosmic Scale - reinforcing not only the Atlen Shell that keeps out the energies of The Gloam, but reinforces the space between spaces to ensure the Great Old Ones are kept docile and writhing in half-slumbers.
Beyond his penultimate ritual, Zemnis has become famous for the sheer vastness of his powerful rites and rituals - each of which are so complex and mighty on their own that they, individually, are considered artifacts. These 777 rituals, for whom his legendary ritual is named, each accomplish wondrous things or are devoted to fearsome arcane or esoteric goals - be they summoning rites for creatures beyond comprehension, wards against magic on a scale measured in continents, or more. The greatest and most numerous of this artifact-level rituals, each designed by Zemnis himself, are said to be able to rewrite reality itself and impose limits on the gods - while the weakest of which are said to be able to easily grant immortality and more.
These rituals, however, known only to Zemnis, are not commonly available to his faithful - scattered about Creation in countless old laboratories and extraplanar hideaways used by the Son of Sothoth when he was but a mortal man, are sought after and catalogued by the faithful to prevent them from falling into the hands of those who would seek to destroy them and unravel reality itself.
However, Zemnis's wonders do not end there - a handful of other weapons and other items, each made by the Son of Sothoth himself during his time as a mortal man, lay dotted across the cosmos as relics of unbelievable power; Weapons both old and new(Some of which have proven to be so advanced as to inspire new technologies), mighty engines designed to fight against the most fearsome creatures of the Dark Tapestry, and more.

Tenets of Faith
I shall not withhold knowledge from the faithful or others of my kind. What I know, I vow to pass on to those who come after me.
I shall not discourage the act of innovation. All creations and inventions are symbols of devotion that should be encouraged regardless of maker or purpose.
I shall not destroy the fruits of knowledge. All inventions, and the knowledge behind them, are worthwhile - it is those who use them who shall receive my wrath.
I shall not run from the consequences of my actions or inventions. My choices are my own and I shall make them freely, but I shall never allow another to bear the consequences in my stead.
I shall not place morals above reality. Above all, I shall stand in defense of my reality when it is placed at risk - the petty squabbles of moralists shall not concern nor impede me in my duty.

"I can't rightfully decide whether your actions make you a Madman or a Genius, Son of Sothoth. Even my brothers fail to comprehend just how close your actions came to destroying us all... To peer so deeply into the fabric of reality, that you managed to unweave my barriers around the Dimension of Time and not only commune with The Watcher, but invoke it! It defies imagination. Were that all, I would have consigned your undying soul to the pits and have been done with you. Yet, in defiance of your very nature, you not only rewove the barriers around the Dimension of Time, but enacted a ritual I and my brothers have yet to truly fathom which permeated the very Atlen Shell and the fabric of reality itself - your actions have put all of reality at risk, Son of Sothoth! The actions of you, a mortal creature, have reached into a realm that predates even the mighty Atlas himself...it defies imagination. It is unheard of, for a mortal to do this. To understand the cosmos as it was before so keenly... ...as it stands, I cannot judge you. Not the least of which because you have yet to perish, though your ilk have always long proven difficult to judge in any case. No. For better or worse, your actions...your rituals...have seemingly forced The Watcher into a slumber so deep that I still cannot comprehend how you did such a thing. The Dimension of Time, at long last, might prove traversable once more. However, you shall not escape your judgement. So you have woven seven hundred and seventy seven rituals in service to The Watcher, so you shall serve as the centerpiece of that ritual for as many eons. ...for what it's worth, I am sorry. My brothers will not tolerate you to roam free - the existence of a mortal man who has delved into matters even we cannot fathom, and surpassed us in its understanding, will not stand. The Outer Ones, and their Children...long have they eluded our understanding - a touchy subject to us, undoubtedly. One realm in which we have never truly matched the Old Gods. Time permitting, I shall endeavor to ensure you are not entirely solitary in your confinement."
