Session 45: Granny Bonehands...or was it Old Norri? Report

With a weird burst of healing magic from Olin, everyone got up to full health, and then with a weird turn of the balance in the fight, Olin channeled divinity--from somewhere--to make the large mushroom dragon into a hag form. In a chase, Flick getting dispelled out of the creature he'd polymorphed into, and a wall of thorns, Guen and Flick did a web and sickening radiance combination to finish Old Norri off. They raided her little cottage, and checked on Flick's family before continuing. Rain's tree and Rain seemed to be on the road to recovery.   The Wandering Scholars headed towards the Amethyst Ice Peaks to find Killgara, and found a few caves higher up on the mountain. They entered one, and it happened to lead into an Aconite Dragon's lair, where Flick--thinking fast--got them out of the lair really fast. They went down another path and out of the snow, and walked past some Clemantis dragons, bathing in the puddles in the crystal refractions. Pressing onwards, the light dimmed, and refractions got less and less. They chose a path right at a fork, and fell down a steep chute that after a short journey spat them out near a market of mushroom folk. Trying to think of how to communicate and not getting far, they fished and sold fish for half hopes. Ospreay wandered off and tried to offer help but as a very apparent outsider he was avoided, though some did offer trinkets to help him. (because they couldn't read his sign). When the others called it for the day they went to take a rest, but Ospreay stayed, and saw shroom-folk dressed similar to Killgara in what seemed like the medicine district, making their rounds to get aide to those who were rotting in public too long. He saw most of the people head off on boats, and decided to try to follow by jumping into the underground river, but got swept away, and lost which way was up. He went unconcious and Olin felt something up. He dashed out to find Ospreay with Guen, and they managed to get Ospreay back on dry ground, and got back to the tiny hut Flick had put up and got a long rest.   Olin pulled out a fragment of a tapestry....at the end of our session.
