Session 23: The Well Water is Mighty Murky Report

Olin, Guen, Pipus and Francis arrive in Stoney Glen, Guen having felt a bit of the woods madness effects after traveling for a whole day in the woods. Arriving, Francis goes to get rooms at the inn--The Muddy Gnoll, and the others head into the market to shop for wares. Guen acquires fake rubies, Olin acquires some things, food, and information. They run into a Penglin individual called Zangala who is really friendly. Zangala (they/them) and their companion (whom later told his name to the four of the party) Ospreay chat friendly and they agree to meet up later since both parties have interest in heading to the Silent Divine for reconnassiance. There is also other motivators for both groups, but those were not shared openly. Zangala is insatiably hungry. Ospreay got drunk, and gave Olin a letter that was delivered to the room he and Zangala share. When he found out that Olin was Olin he gave the letter to Olin.

They all hear about poisoned water from the wells and investigate. They talk with Fania and Alfana at the oracle booth where they solved a puzzle to turn Alfana back into a human from a frog. (there was a set order to the oracle cards--Pipus was there and would have been interested in the order). They go and investigate 'Old Man Fania's house' and the wells nearby, and find rootwater berries and rootwater eels. They relay the information Olin knows about how the eels help filter the water to one of the fishers in town, and they head to turn in for the night before prepping for an early morning to journey to the Silent Divine to do recon and see what is going on there. And f the source of the water poisoning is coming from near there since the Silent Divine is upstream from Stoney Glen, but nestled in the woods.
