Session 13: Mixing of Cultures Report

The group, (really should decide on a name xD), battles with Lady Olynder for a little bit longer. Pipus makes the decision to try and talk at her, when Olin commanded her to 'yield' and she gave life essence to those casters near her. Pipus spoke to her and learned that she is Lady Olyander and has a role in keeping lost souls. Flick discovers that the hourglass one of her gremlin/banshees had has a label on it and they ask her if she wants to return to the hourglass. She does so willingly. In the nest that started floating there was a great axe that Pipus took,   Francis wandered off with intent down a side tunnel and Johannes followed, sending a message to Flick. Upon arrival the group is met with an odd dragon statue made of deep slate, and looking like it'd been in the sun for ages. Francis tells the group he lost a brother a while ago (about 846ish PD) to the rift here. He is not sure where it leads, but there is a journal that they can communicate through...sometimes. He says he intends to go get his brother after the current objective with helping Gyasi if the others were up to helping him. There was loose agreement in doing this.   The group then goes and chats with Gyasi, and he introduces them to Rosa who makes them all a drink and shares some 'ominous' story as she makes it. The group takes 3 skirmish-crawlers and begins their travels through the desert. Other than the first night, those keeping watch in the darkest hours of the night clock a winged creature circling overhead in the sky. They also clock the wandering hoardes but nothing happens at night. On the second day The crawler Pipus is driving breaks down and Rosa and Guen spend a good few hours fixing it. Flick clocks a caravan with colors that match the Ironbane traveling through the desert and talks with Olin about going and chatting. Olin reasons no, since the desert be scary and to stay together as a group. The third day, the group encounters a frenzied hoarde near midday, and Olin kills 2/3 of the zomboys as he and Pipus are thrown from the crawler after getting a zombie arm caught in the front wheel. Dealing with the remaining zombies, the group hops on the crawler and catches up with the others before arriving to their campsite for the evening, where Rosa is about to talk to the group about what to anticipate going into the site.   IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS YOU WANT TO ASK ROSA BEFORE GOING INTO 'R?'
