Summer Camp Prep 2025

Man oh man, here we go again! I joined this community a year ago (22 Jun, 2024 to be exact) and I remember all of my thoughts last year when I saw this "summer camp deal." I loved it so so much!

These last few months, I have been MIA, and I apologize! I started my Master's, and between work and that, I really did not have time to come online. BUT I do have new characters and stories to tell you all! Can you feel my excitement?

Last year I reached Diamond, and this year is no different! I will be traveling during the duration of summer camp, but that will not stop me from trying to complete those 32+ prompts.

There is a lot to be done with my world if I am being honest. I need to learn (if you have suggestions please let me know) how to make my page look better (CSS) and to structure everything better. It feels like everything is just random there. I also need to tie some characters together and explain why they are there. But I am getting ahead of this! I will answer some of the questions that "require" a writen answer here:

I think that this theme is interesting because I could answer it in terms of food, power, love, growth, mentality... I just depend on who we are talking about and what we are talking about. I do not want to talk much about it here because I do have a couple of ideas that I would like to write for summer camp.

I NEED to learn CSS and how to make my homepage better, even my articles. I just don't want to break the system. I am open to recommendations! I am also going to use Google/YouTube for help.

My mother is 10000% my number one cheerleader. She reads everything that I write, helps me come up with plots and ideas, and even suggests things. She is the one that will help me achieve my summer camp goal.

There is a lot of work to be done and I am starting right now. I know I did not say much, but I truly want this experience, both for me and readers, to be fresh and "new." I am going to go through all of my old articles as well as meta and tie/clean everything up. I just need to remember that this is for fun, it's okay to make mistakes, and what really matters is that I achieved something creative.

Theme Description

We’re starting with… food! Ok, not just food. In fact, this theme is way more general than it seems! For example, technology is “nourished” by an energy source, plants feed on sunlight, and it’s often said that philosophy and spirituality “nourish the soul”. Basically, anything that gets “consumed” for a positive effect is nourishment, physically or metaphorically. Yes, this theme goes pretty deep—you could almost say it’s food for thought!

Knowing the roots of your setting will be really helpful here, as you need to know where you’re coming from to understand what will change.

I wish you all the best for your goals and a great summer camp. As for CSS, I highly recommend visiting the WA discord - the #CSS-Help channel has plenty of good resources. There are also some specific youtube videos for Worldanvil CSS beginners - just throw worldanvil CSS into the search and you will find some.
