CrownsGuard
The Crownsguard was originally established when The CrownsPact, led by King Tais the Crownbearer, stole The Crown of Law from Gal'Galed, smiting him. Once Gal'Galed was defeated, his grip on Ómar Crún was loosened, but Tais still needed an army powerful enough to push The Red Lotus out of Ómar Crún.
Tais chose his greatest generals of the revolution against Gal'Galed, and used the Crown of Law's power to bless them with divine energy, making those blessed into Crownsguard, essentially superhuman and incredibly powerful.
The Crownsguard from here established the Age of Law, taking control of every notable settlement, cracking down on those who would not live within their society and follow their laws. Each city had a minimum of one Crownsguard and they kept the populace safe and controlled.
As the Age of Law came towards its close, not long after the southern half of the Endless Desert became flooded with a wave of evil power and creatures from The Abyss and Nine Hells, the Crownsguard were given the order to leave Ómar Crún to its own devices
