Lembria Mines

As far as Ynath has existed, Lembria has existed. The natural caverns running in the northern mountain flanks where first explored many years ago. It was first exploited for iron, which was then transformed by the craftsmen in Ynath or even transported as is to other cities where it would be transformed.   However, the deeper they went the more material they found. In the last few hundred years the miners have started discovering cold iron. It took the workers in town to learn to use this material, but over time, it made them quite famous. When Klymeira took over the mines a few decades back, she brought the searches in another direction in the mines. Her scouts and herself found deeper in the mine, platinum ore and sapphire deposits. Sapphires of various colors.   It was at that time that Ynath started attracting various traders and craftsmen who made sure to exploit the town's resources the best they could. As such, the mine has become a central element to the city's culture and wealth.
