Steelwood is known for its extremely hearty characteristics and the fact that it seems to 'cure' after being harvested causing the wood to have exceptional qualities for building, tools, and other vital materials. It's namesake extends from this feature and its grayish hue. Steelwood is highly saught after across Cinder's Hope.

Found mostly in the central and southern regions of Middlewood.
