The middle deserts are governed by the 9 Bloodletter Clans that exert various levels of influence within the space. There are 5 Major houses and 4 smaller houses. While some participate in actual governance, others act as nomads and refuse the practice of civilization and social cooperation on such large scales. Each clan has its own unique selection process for their Nobel Court Representative, which all convene every other year for a Moot to discuss issues prevalent to the realm. An Emergency Moot can be called in time of great strife such as the ending of the Oazallan Conflict .
