Rose Statue

This statue stands at the center of Roserest's square and is the village's pride and joy. Made of the finest metal at the time, the craftsmanship with which it was made is clear to any blacksmith or artistically minded viewer.   Festivals and different kinds of celebrations are held around it, and during those times some villagers take extra time and effort to decorate their metal rose so it will match the tone of festivities. It's become almost like a game of who will show up with the most lavish decorations, every festival.

Purpose / Function

This statue was created after the passing of Rose, as a way to immortalize and remember her as the founder of Roserest.

Alterations

The base in which the statue rests had to be changed due to rusting, but no alterations to the statue itself have been needed so far in time it's existed.

Tourism

This is the closest to a tourist attraction that Roserest has, so it's the main sight that visitors are told to look at.
