The Trots'Lac family were the first Valders ever set foot on Eldercrest. Tho still they didn't gain any benefits from it. At a young age, the old emperor Perydos saw her beauty and fell for her. But because her family was not noble she could not be empress. Therefore she became his mistress, like many other women before her. She got pregnant and found out later on that Perydos was planning to give the child "True son" status, letting the child be his heir, but he would not marry her and make her his Empress. This made her frustrated, and later on, they had a fight, and he relieved her of her honor of being his Mistress.
To upset the emperor, she married his first cousin, Berl Valar, and got another son, Ankis.
