While discussing the possibility of creating their own guild, The Party noticed a fight breaking out at the bar. A group of Xanathar Guild Members attacked Yagra Stonefist, a known member of The Zhentarim. The Party, led by Jedda Endwalker, jumped up to break up the fight. After defeating a few of the Xanathar Guild Members, a Troll as well as 9 Stirges crawled out of the Yawning Portal. The remaining bar patrons ran away as the Party, alongside Durnan the barkeep, ran into the fray and defeated the monsters.

After defeating the troll, Durnan gifted each of the party members a Potion of Healing. An author by the name of Volothamp Geddarm approached the party with a job offer after returning to their seats. His friend, Floon Blagmaar, has been missing for two days. He was last seen at The Skewered Dragon in the Dock Ward. After getting what info they could, The Party headed off towards The Skewered Dragon.
