Ligera Band

The Ligera Band is a region of the galaxy within the inner rim. It covers an area of space roughly following the innermost band of the galaxy’s spiral starting from the edge of the galactic core in the south; going through the western,half of Ligera and most of the bright sector in the east; then encompassing the United States of Mooz in the north; and finally ending at the border of the Mew Sector in the west. It is also mainly the area in between and surrounding the Harmonian Run and the Burrwos-bright trade route. This region is the most densely populated region in the galaxy, with a few planets’ populations in the area reaching over 100 billion individual sentients. The Ligera Band is home to a diverse group of sentient species, with many planets not having a single dominant species. Some areas and star nations have more prominent species, such as Rodenttia having many predominant rodent species or Oveja having a predominantly sheep population. The Ligera Band is also the center of the galactic economy with many of the galaxy’s most important commercial and industrial worlds along with major trade routes. Most of the major hyperlanes of the galaxy start and/or intersect in the Ligera Band. Most notably, the many routes that start or pass through Harmonia—the capital of LBF. the LBF, or the Ligera Band Federation was originally an alliance of a few star states in the region to advance themselves and their people forward with cooperation. The organization has since expanded to other regions of the galaxy and has become a superpower of many star nations.
