Deities and Pantheons - an overview
The standard theology holds that the most important deities (the titans) created the world of Casiphon. The titans then had a war between themselves, with the eventual winners (the saviour-titans) creating a series of lesser gods to assist them in the war.
The main (elven) pantheon of deities is broadly based on the Olympian/Greek gods, with significant differences in the mythology behind them. This includes the saviour-titans and the gods they created. More information: Elven Religion
The dwarves worship a version of this pantheon which is based on the Roman gods. More information: Dwarven Religion
Other groups, such as the Perakhuoshi barbarians, Cathain humans or Thoulian nomads, worship different gods according to their own beliefs. (the Norse, Celtic or Egyptian pantheons respectively, as per the D&D rules). This is conceptualised as different aspects of the same divine powers behind the elven pantheon, formed and shaped in particular ways according to the shared beliefs of the worshippers.
Other races, such as the Aranbari Dragonborn, Lizardfolk, Minotaurs, Goliaths or Orcs worship different groups. The Aranbari Dragonborn worship a series of draconic deities based on their previous dragon overlords, while orcs worship a unique set of deities.
