Focus Check
A focus check is very similar to a concentration check in basic 5e. A standard focus check is a DC 10 Constitution save. At the GMs discretion, this may be adjusted to 8 + half the agent's level. A failure expends the action type (standard, bonus) but does not expend a use of the ability or feature.
Focus checks made outside of combat can only be attempted once per task.
Some abilities require sustained focus. Only one check is made to activate the ability and maintaining focus is a free action, unless stated otherwise. If the agent sustains damage they need to make a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 12 or half the damage taken, whichever is higher. You can only maintain focus on one ability at a time.
A point of Ingenuity can be spent to activate an ability or maintain focus in response to damage without requiring a check.
