Queensfell

The city was originally built by high elves, but through war and alliances it grew to encompass districts and homes for all the major races of the region. Several locations to note include the High Palace, the industrial district, an impressive aqueduct network, and a sacred shaded grove where Drow and surface elves share one harmonious space of worship. In the capital, most things are possible, as many guilds, temples, and other organizations are headquartered here. It is most commonly referred to as Queensfell, the Common name honoring the sacrifice of the Queen in the war with the Giants.

Industry & Trade

As capitol of Auruten, all manner of artisans and master craftsfolk exist within the city. Ancient elven and dwarven trade secrets are mastered, creating the finest goods this side of Ursanth. It is one of the few locatons where Arcane study and magical craft can be found for a price, which may be considered one of its finest exports. Because of its size, it does not produce enough food for its people, and relies heavily on farm support from villages throughout the realm, and would see famine if its supply from Dewsbury were to be cut off.   The Industrial district produces siege and military equipment, as well as quality frames, metal and stone work that can be sent down river to aid the other cities of the nation.   The legacy product of the city, from the time of elves, are delicious ruby-red apple orchards.
