One out of Two Ain't Bad?

General Summary

As the fight continued, Jann continued to find himself lighting up the battlefield though with less intent and more instinct. Maelor, meanwhile, was all intent, swapping between using his maul for defending his friends and crushing creatures before they could do any serious damage to his friends. Recognizing that Jann's newfound power was allowing him to hold his own, Maelor moved to defend Boc from Tellen.   As he did, this allowed Boc to get off the back of Pip and dash towards Korin who appeared to be awakening, in great pain, from his unpleasant reverie. It appears the elemental fire had burned whatever infecting force had consumed them. Unfortunately, before this information could be passed to Maelor, he landed a massive blow to Tellen, plastering the dwarf across the side of the inn. The fight subsided, the party found that while the two were mining the vitraxine a hole formed into "somewhere else" and a breeze or mist fell through. Korin mentioned other forms in the mist, but didn't remember anything else until waking from white hot pain coursing through his veins.   Unfortunately, Boc recognized the damage from Jann, Maelor, and whatever was coursing through his bloodstream had pushed Korin beyond the brink of survival. He pressed oils from a variety of the mushrooms creating an alchemical ointment to hide his injuries and reduce his pain so he could spend the last few hours with Mina, his daughter, and getting things in order.
