Session 13: Preparing for the Duke

After leaving the strange Wolfmen Shadowspawn to the city guard, the party set off to prepare for their meeting with Duke Grove  to see how they can gain his favor.
  Praesidux Ludovici has his armor fixed and cleaned up to look presentable for the Duke while he ponders what he will ask during the meeting.
  Danton Levi visits Strixhaven Academy to return a few borrowed objects and inquire about the safety of the students, and possibly tranfering his potition to the Glomingard branch as he thinks he might be staying a while.
  Mirael Warhand sets off to the Adventurer's Guild to see if he can obtain some insider information and save a spot for the party for the meeting, knowing well that the duke will only meet a handful of people from Glomingard before he grows tired for the day. Sneaking up behind him is Jan Ederic who is attempting to steal the mysterious scroll Mirael acquired from the abandoned silver mine. In his attempt to disguise himself as a guild member to sneak into a restricted area, he unluckily impersonates a member under suspicion of heresy, walks into the interogation room, and fails to notice the anti-magic wards carved into the interior. The day ends with him in prison for the night thinking of how else the situation could've been handeled.
 
  All the while there are strange whispers of the guards at the barracks taking care of the wolfmen going quiet in the morning. At least there is good news, Rachel, the student saved from the foul creates, has woken up at the DawnLight Cathedral.
