Phendor, God of Death

Phendor is the descended of Ismir, the god of trickery and Urdelia, the goddess of war.

The god of death is worshiped in two capacities, also known as his two faces.
- Phendor Celeria is the embodiment of natural decay. It is said, that he upholds the balance between Life and Death and that he takes so that Ishgala, the Goddess of Life can put new life into existence. This incarnation of the god is represented by Celeria the bigger one, of the two moons, orbiting Caltora.
- Phendor Hornus on the other hand is the embodiment of unnatural death, the taking of life, before it had its time. He is said to be the one ultimately responsible for murders, diseases and miscarriages. The worship of him is largely forbidden and only practiced by individuals that have been abandoned by all other deities, often because of the crimes or sacrilege they committed. Its symbol is Hornus, the smaller moon of Caltora.

  1. The symbol that represents this duality, is comprised of one head with two heads in profile, on either side. The head to the left has sharp complexions, while the right-facing face is rounded and smooth.
