Bastermir, God of Farming
Bastemir (a.k.a. God of Farming)
Bastemir is the son of Nurdur, the god of nature, and Idlia, the goddess of wisdom. He went on to marry Medriva, the goddess of adventure, the daugther of Adzmun, the god of art, and Themna, the goddess of love.
He is the patron of all farmers and understood to be the main provider of food in the world.
While he does not hold a high position in the religious belief of most city dwellers he is seen as the most important god and infrequently the only god, to worship in many rural communities.
Together with his uncle and father-in-law Adzmun, the god of art, he produces the mead and wine for Edea, the goddess of celebration, his cousin. Those three gods are therefore known as the tavern gods.
Together with his wife Medriva , he is the creator, patron and father of all Humans.
