During this rare lunar alignment, the twin moons of Caemothas—Aluna and Nalus—cast overlapping shadows into the ocean. The result is a mystical period where dreams run deep, visions emerge, and time feels soft. Many believe the sea itself listens more closely during these nights.  

Traditions & Rituals

 

Sleep Fasting

Mystics and pilgrims abstain from sleep for one or two days before the Vigil, preparing the mind for deeper dream communion. Special teas or psionic salts are consumed to enhance lucid dreaming.  

Tide-Prophecy Readings

Patterns of bioluminescent plankton, currents, or shell spirals are interpreted by trained dream-seers. Messages from ancestors, spirits, or even gods are often believed to be encoded in these signs.
