SoS: Heaven's Landing

When we last left our heroes, they ventured east into the embattled Otway. The city, damaged and singed by ships in Heaven’s Bay, daily life had somewhat resumed. The eastern gate was ruined, statues to Otway and other leaders were toppled and pulverized and sounds of town criers spouting their headlines rang throughout the less crowded streets.   Phara said her farewells to Hope and the Shields graciously thanking them for all they had done for her and promising her resilience in the face of her new patron. She plans to gather the leaders of the Torcs and the Houses to form a Great Council to finally bring peace to the Lower Wylds . The party provisioned at a number of stores throughout the city. Purchases included horses and a cart for their new Shield army, rations and supplies for their journey northward, armor at the lonely Duo’s armory (Stela was Talc’s sister) and inquiries on magic items. Aesyn and Hope’s search for information regarding the Blood War led them the Temple of Unerav where Hope sent a letter requesting the Elemental shard of fire back. They also happened upon a non-denominational temple led by an acolyte who was very forthcoming. He spoke of the Seasonheart Phoenixes, the Blood War, the elemental omphalos, and other oft worshiped subjects.   Armed with their acquired supplies and knowledge, the Shield journeyed up the Withering Road toward Sentynel…
