Church of Urkest
The Church of Urkest is highly martial in nature; its religious sites look more like military training grounds than quiet buildings for cloistered contemplation. The Church offers training in martial skills and the tactics of warfare for any who will stand as bastions against the encroaching chaos of lawlessness and tyranny. Its priesthood is found within most organised military forces, acting as advisors, trainers and healers, bringing the divine teachings of Urkest to the ranked masses, ensuring honourable behaviour by those under their care. The yearly Oath Renewal festival is officiated by the priesthood, where they receive the renewed oaths of their students to protect civilised places from the chaos of the world.
Tenets of Faith
To protect the civilised places of the world from the encoraching wilderness, and chaos of the world, by standing as becons to inspire honourable combat in defence of these places, to act as a guide, trainer and mentor to those who would stand with you in defence and to use your divine gifts to heal and protect those who stand with you.
To honour treaties struck and to defend them from being cast aside.
